Practices have begun at Studio Basement Zampa. We're knocking the dust off the old tracks, writing some new ones, and adding a few of our favorite covers to the set. It's been so much fun to play with the boys again; picking up right where we left off just about 10 years ago!
We've also added links to our Youtube and Facebook pages at the bottom of our website. Don't forget to SMASH the Like and Subscribe buttons!!! Geez, that feels gross. But just freaking do it anyways, okay?! Gosh. Love you.

We just got back from tracking at Electric Canyon Studios with Dale Price at the helm and we had a friggin' blast! We would all highly recommend Dale and his studio for providing such a warm and creative environment. With that said, go hit up them new tracks! The album is called,

The Boys and I are hard at work on our first album. We've been through a lot of changes these past few months and now things are really starting to gel and move along at quite a pace, I must say.
The music is written tightly and our live performances have been going really well as of late. A good amount of our tracks have already been recorded in Chris' studio and we are cutting backing tracks, mixing, leveling, and tweaking the finals in the home of one Mr. Fiz-dizzle (that means Faizal).
Now the main point; we've come to an agreement on the title of Shrew's first full length release...
"Snake Oil Ministry"
We are shooting for the earlier part of 2008, but you know how that whole process goes... We want to get this thing right. Nothing wrong with that!

Okay, that show was just about as super fun as it gets. The Boys and I had an absolute blast. There were a few hang ups and all with certain un-named parties, but all-in-all we had a great time! The audience cheered when I accidentally punched myself in the face and gave myself a fat lip (anything for the crowd, egh?). We got a good response afterwards from all and a personally culminating night in my music career happened when a young boy nervously ran up to me in public to tell me how good we did. That just made everything worth it. I mean like... everything!

Shrew is so pleased to be opening for one of our favorite bands, Floater, at the Senator Theater in our hometown, Chico, Ca! The show takes place Friday, October, 19th. Tickets are on sale at Diamond W Western wear for $12, doors open at 8:00 pm. Shrew kicks it off something proper like at 8:30, the fabulous Aaron Cuadra takes stage second and then the mighty Floater. This is a great opportunity for us and we expect a good reaction. Come cheer us on and support your favorite Chico rockers!
